Design: Movie Posters – Dr. No

British Quad

Dr No 1962    Dr No was the first and arguably the best James Bond film. Starring Sean (the only James Bond) Connery and Ursula Andress (as Honey Rider) it laid the foundation for the next 21 Bond films. Less gadget oriented and more plot driven Dr. No was a huge hit in 1962. The artwork for it is, in my opinion, the best of the Bond films. All are beautifully designed with different styles of illustration and interesting type placement. The British quad (above) is the rarest and sells for close to $20,000.
